HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — Three suspects accused of killing at least two women and burying them behind a shopping plaza were denied bond Tuesday.
Dennis Lane, his brother, Cleounsee Fisher, and Ronisha Preckwinkle are facing several charges, including murder.
Channel 2′s Tyisha Fernandes learned Tuesday that the case has not yet been presented to a grand jury because there is no official cause of death for one of the victims.
The district attorney’s office said an autopsy report is key to the case.
Judge Brian Amero denied bond for Lane, Preckwinkle and Fisher on Tuesday. They are accused of killing Mirscha Victor, 23, and burying her body behind a busy shopping plaza.

“Back on July 8, three people were in the home, the townhome—this defendant Mr. Disher, Miss Preckwinkle and Mr. Lane—when the victim arrived in the early morning hours. Three of them came out alive and it wasn’t the victim in this case,” Henry County Chief Assistant District Attorney Deborah Venuto said.
Investigators said they believe Lane killed Victor and the other suspects helped cover up the death.
Lane waived his bond hearing Tuesday. The other suspects asked the judge for a bond.
Fisher’s attorney argued that his client only helped hide evidence because his brother forced him to do so.
The state didn’t buy it.
“This defendant participated in removing a bloody mattress from this home,” Venuto said. “He’s on surveillance video removing that mattress from the home, putting it in a dumpster where officers found it.”
Preckwinckle’s attorney argued that she was only there and had nothing to do with the murder.
The state pointed out that Preckwinckle was seen on surveillance video carrying bags out of the house, some of which police never found.
“She is seeing carrying bags out of the residence, coming back to the residence, having conversations with Mr. Lane and then leaving the residence again,” Venuto said. “So, the state has some great concerns as to what happened to some of the other items.”
The state said that the autopsy report in Victor’s killing is expected any day now. The case then will be presented to a grand jury.
