Patti LaBelle and Gladys Knight headlining opening of new Stockbridge amphitheater

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. — Musical legends Patti LaBelle and Gladys Knight are set to christen a new amphitheater in the metro Atlanta area.

The Stockbridge Amphitheater is set to have a grand opening on September 25 that will be headlined by The Godmother and the Empress of Soul themselves.

The 3,200 seat venue is the first of its kind in Henry County.

Both Grammy award-winning artists will headline the amphitheater’s first event.

Tickets for the grand opening will go on sale no later than August 30.
