HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — The Henry County Sheriff’s Office said the man accused of sexually assaulting an elderly woman at a senior living complex is now in custody.

It was in February when police said a 75-year-old woman was attacked inside her home at the Heritage at McDonough Senior Living complex.

Police said Farris was able to get into one unit, where he sexually assaulted the woman and then “casually walked out of the apartment.”
Officers also believe this might not be the only attack. Police said the suspect also was caught on surveillance video attempting to break into other homes.
Henry County Sheriff Reginald Scandrett said the arrest of Farris was a joint effort between his department, McDonough police, Hampton police, Henry County police, Locust Grove police and the GBI.
The Henry County SWAT team executed a search at a home off Adams Circle in McDonough and took Farris into custody without incident.
