Rescue group looking for dog that ran away shortly after leg amputation

HAMPTON, Ga. — An animal rescue organization is asking for help locating a missing dog that got loose while still recovering from a leg amputation and may be in severe pain.

The W-Underdogs Atlanta said that Loki ran away despite his recent surgery and may still be wearing a hood around his head. He was last seen near the 100 block of Nicki Court and the 1000 block of Bear Creek Boulevard in Hampton.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call 678-725-1598 but to not approach, call or whistle because he is likely to be frightened and run away.
