HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — A SWAT standoff that lasted more than eight hours is over in Henry County.

SWAT teams from both Clayton and Henry county were at the scene on East Shoreview Road in the Wesley Lakes Subdivision.

A Channel 2 photographer was there overnight as officers brought in the armored vehicles.

The call came in around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and McDonough officers responded to the home.

We’re still working to find out what started it all and led to the standoff, for updates on Channel 2 Action News at Noon.

Channel 2's Steve Gehlbach learned the man was alone in the house with no hostages.

He was there when the suspect was taken away in an ambulance.
