There will be another risk of strong to severe storms across Georgia late Sunday into Monday morning.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz says it doesn’t look like last weekend’s setup, but we need to be weather aware.
Severe Weather Team 2 is going over the threats and updating the timing for this weekend, all evening on Channel 2 Action News.

Here’s what you need to know:
- Parts of south metro and middle Georgia are under a Level 3 out of 5 risk for severe weather.
- Other areas are under Level 2 threat while far north Georgia is under a Level 1.
- Threats include heavy rain, damaging wind gusts, hail and isolated tornadoes.
- The tornado risk is highest south of I-20.
