Channel 2 is the official TV partner of the Georgia Athletics and will air the celebration LIVE starting with Bulldogs Game Day starting at 11 a.m.
Luckily for Dawgs fans, they will have a couple of opportunities this week to get close to the national championship trophy.
The trophy will be on display at the Kroger store off Alps Road in Athens on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. and the Walmart at 4375 Lexington Road from Noon to 3 p.m. on Thursday.

Fans will be able to have their photo taken with the trophy, but the one rule to follow: don’t touch it.
The 26.5-inches tall trophy is made from 24K gold, bronze and stainless steel and can take three months to create. A new trophy is made each year so the championship-winning team can display it on campus.
