The Atlanta-based company says the centers are part of its $1.2 billion investment toward its distribution and delivery services.
The Locust Grove location is expected to be one of 150 new supply chain facilities nationwide, including several in metro Atlanta.
The goal is to replenish supplies at stores across the southeast, faster. Home Depot wants to reach 90-percent of the U.S. with same-day or next-day delivery.
“Our ability to adapt and scale to this high-demand environment is a testament to both the investments we’ve made in the business, as well as our associates’ focus on our customers,” said Paul Larkin, vice president of supply chain.
