SPALDING COUNTY, Ga. — A judge has granted Snapchat a legal victory in connection with a lawsuit over a bad crash.
The civil case is centered around whether Christal McGee was using Snapchat's speed filter when she was suspected of going nearly 100 miles an hour before a crash.
The severely injured driver of the other car sued.
A judge in Spalding County granted Snapchat's motion to dismiss on Friday.
The case against McGhee is ongoing.
