CALHOUN, Ga. — Calhoun police say a factory is on fire and nearby buildings are being evacuated after a piece of equipment caught fire Wednesday afternoon.
The fire broke out at a building on Highway 41 south in Gordon County near Tom B. David Airport.

Police say at least one propane tank has exploded.

NewsChopper 2 was over the scene, where there was a massive plume of black smoke billowing from a building.
It’s unclear if anyone was injured or what the factory may have stored.
