RIVERDALE, Ga. — A house fire temporarily shut down part of a busy road in Clayton County on Monday morning.
NewsChopper 2 flew over the scene for Channel 2 Action News This Morning and spotted at least half a dozen fire trucks off Upper Riverdale Road.
It appears the investigation is focused on one of the homes across from Southern Regional Medical Center. The investigation temporarily shut down Upper Riverdale Road between Hayes Drive and Roy Huie Road.
It’s unclear what led to the fire, but officials told Channel 2′s Steve Gehlbach that it was abandoned.
