FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Channel 2 Action News has obtained a copy of an amended lawsuit against Nick Gordon that alleges he gave Bobbi Kristina Brown a “toxic cocktail” and then placed her face-down in a bathtub the day of Brown’s death.

The lawsuit that was originally filed in Fulton County Court in June was amended Friday to add the new allegations against Gordon.

Brown died last month after several months in the hospital and a recovery facility. Brown was found face-down in a bathtub inside her Roswell home Jan. 31.

The amended lawsuit claims Gordon returned home on Jan. 31 "from being out all night on a cocaine and drinking binge."

The suit goes on to say Gordon watched video footage of Bobbi Kristina inside the home and listened to her conversations. The two then got into a "loud argument," during which Gordon accused her of cheating.

That's when, the lawsuit alleges, Gordon gave Brown the cocktail and placed her face down "in a tub of cold water causing her to suffer brain damage."

"(Gordon) then came out of the master bedroom wearing a different set of clothing than he was wearing prior to his argument with Bobbi Kristina. Afterward he got in bed, and laid his head on female guest's ankle and stated, 'Now I want a pretty little white girl like you,'" the amended lawsuit said.

The lawsuit said about 15 minutes later was when someone in the home found Bobbi Kristina unconscious and called 911.

The lawsuit is seeking $10 million in punitive damages against Gordon over alleged abuse and stealing "in excess of $11,000 from Brown's bank account while she was in the hospital."

The lawsuit claims that in January 2014, Gordon "perpetuated the fraud that he had married Brown, though in fact he never did so."

"The misrepresentation that (Gordon) was Brown's 'husband' was used to control Brown and limit with whom she could interact," the suit claims.

The lawsuit alleges that Gordon would transfer large amounts of money from Brown into a bank account controlled solely by him.

Another claim says Gordon physically abused Brown, "including punching her in the face, knocking out a front tooth, and dragging her upstairs by her hair."

"Brown had confided to someone that (Gordon) was not the man she thought he was," the suit says.

In a statement from Bedelia Hargrove, conservator of Brown’s estate, Hargrove said:

"I am deeply saddened by the recent death of Bobbi Kristina Brown. I extend my sincerest condolences to all of her family. Consistent with and to the letter of the civil action I initially filed on behalf of Bobbi Kristina, we will continue to pursue justice for her. I have filed today an amended complaint against Nicholas Gordon adding a count for wrongful death and for pain and suffering. We will leave no stone unturned in seeking justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown."

Gordon hasn't been charged criminally.

In a statement from Gordon's legal team they said:

"The recent lawsuit against Nick is slanderous and meritless.  Nick has been heartbroken and destroyed over the loss of his love and it's shameful that such baseless allegations have been presented publicly.  Nick has engaged civil counsel and intends to defend the lawsuit vigorously and expose it for what it is: a fictitious assault against the person who loved Krissy most."

An initial autopsy found no obvious cause of death and the medical examiner's office said it would likely take several weeks to rule on a manner and cause of death.

The district attorney's office has said it will review the investigative file.
