According to investigators, the tractor-trailer driver was in the far-left lane and a Honda Accord was in the middle lane. The two vehicles collided, which sent the Accord off the interstate.
The tractor-trailer overturned and hit the guardrail on the shoulder. Troopers found a Nissan Altima that was abandoned not far from the scene. Investigators believe the Altima was also involved in the crash.
The crash is still under active investigation by the SCRT team on scene.
