ATLANTA — At least 14 people have died on Georgia roads so far this Memorial Day weekend.
As of 6 a.m. Monday, crashes have killed people in Newnan, Villa Rica, Paulding County, Hazlehurst, Monroe, Gwinnett County, Richmond County, Colquitt County, Wilcox County, Cherokee County, Tifton, Dublin and Floyd County.

A man has been arrested on homicide by vehicle charges after troopers said he drove the wrong way on I-20 and crashed into a man on a motorcycle, killing him early Monday morning. The victim, Junior Licona-Chavez, was taken to the hospital, where he died. The suspect, Olakunie Ashimi, was also charged with for DUI and driving on the wrong side of the road.

A 40-year-old man was killed in a single-car crash on Lee Street around 11:45 p.m. Sunday night. Investigators said the vehicle left the road at a high rate of speed and hit a concrete pillar supporting the MARTA tracks. The victim has not been identified.

The Rome Tribune has identified one of the victims as 43-year-old Jason Samuel Jackson.
According to an obituary, Jackson enjoyed video gaming, comic books, Dungeons and Dragons role-playing and sci-fi.
A Mongomery County woman was killed and three other people, including a 5-year-old child, were injured Sunday afternoon after a Chevrolet truck overturned into a ditch, according to WSAV. The victims have not been identified.
A 62-year-old Savannah motorcyclist was killed when he lost control and spun into a vehicle around 8 p.m. Saturday. He’s been identified as David Eason, according to WJCL.
The Augusta Chronicle reports that a driver was killed Sunday on I-20 when the car hit the overpass. The identity of the driver has not been released.
