ATLANTA — A strong line of storms moved through north Georgia Monday morning, downing trees and leaving roads flooded.
This round of severe weather followed a line of storms Sunday morning that left homes flattened and at least five people injured in west Georgia.
Gov. Brian Kemp declared a state of emergency at around 11 a.m. on Sunday.
Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brad Nitz said the severe weather risk has dropped to level one in metro Atlanta Monday, but there remains a risk for flash flooding.
