ATLANTA — Lori Wilson will join Justin Wilfon on Channel 2 Action News, weekends at 6 and 11 p.m.

Wilson replaces Wendy Corona, who was recently promoted to Channel 2 Action News at 4 p.m.

“We conducted a wide search to find Wendy’s replacement on the weekends,” said Misti Turnbull, News Director for Channel 2 Action News. “We knew immediately that Lori was the right person to join Justin Wilfon on the weekends. She has what it takes to make this highly experienced team even stronger.”

"WSB-TV is a station that not only cares about covering the big stories, but also cares about improving the quality of life for all viewers. I'm thrilled to get this rare opportunity to join the number one news team in Atlanta, and to continue to provide viewers with coverage they can count on,” Wilson said. “I am excited to return to work in a city I fell in love with years ago. There is so much rich culture and history in Atlanta, and so many wonderful people, I can't wait to serve the community once again and to work with the talented journalists at Atlanta's most trusted news source.”

Wilson has worked for WISH-TV for over three years. Before that, she anchored and reported for WCAU in Philadelphia for seven years.

She is no stranger to Atlanta, having spent a three-year stint at WGCL during which she anchored the morning and noon news.

Wilson will start after the first of the year.
