ORIGINAL STORY FEB. 10:
Police have identified a man who was shot and killed while sitting in his car Monday evening. Marcus Gilead, 28 of Loganville, died in the shooting off Wrenwood Court.
“The victim was sitting in a car in his driveway when he was approached by at least one suspect – we believe this was robbery related,” said Gwinnett County Cpl. Collin Flynn.
Police said they found Gilead with at least one gunshot wound. He later died at the hospital.
Detectives are currently trying to figure out who might know something about the shooting.
Neighbor Otis Pollard said the neighborhood is usually quiet. He just moved his family there in September.
“I heard about four shots. Four shots and it was pretty loud. And at first, I thought it was just firecrackers, someone acting silly outside but then there was a little bit of a ruckus that was down the street,” Pollard said.
