Man suffers 2nd degree burns on face after his car and home catch fire

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A man is dealing with second-degree burns after accidentally setting his house, and other things, on fire.

DeKalb County Fire and Rescue was called out to 5530 Boggs Drive in Stone Mountain about a house fire.

They said a man was working on a car in his yard when the car caught on fire.

After that, the car fire ignited other items in the yard, and eventually the fire made its way to the house.

DCFR said a tractor-trailer full of tires also caught on fire in the yard.
