SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Mariah Carey appears to have shaken off her metro Atlanta mansion nearly one year after it was targeted by burglars.
The mansion’s list on Ansley Real Estate Christie’s International shows that the Sandy Springs mansion has a pending offer with the latest price of $4,995,000. The original list had a $6.5 million asking price and dropped down to $5,995,000 in October.

Channel 2 Action News confirmed through Fulton County property records the superstar bought the home for $5.65 million in November 2021.
The music icon’s 12,575 square foot mansion sits on four private acres and features nine bedrooms, nine full bathrooms and four half bathrooms.
The property also has a home theater, workout room, a heated pool, tennis courts and, of course, a recording studio.

The sale comes almost a year after Carey’s was one of several celebrity homes that were burglarized.
Last year, Channel 2 investigative reporter Mark Winne was the first to report about police investigating gangs targeting celebrities.
Investigators told Winne that the gang mostly targets the homes of high-profile entertainment, sports or social media figures with targets including Falcons, United players, a “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member and Carey.
Carey posted a picture on Instagram two days before the burglary was reported to have occurred that showed she was vacationing in the Hamptons.
A spokesperson said that Carey’s decision to sell her mansion wasn’t influenced by the burglary.
