ATLANTA — MARTA says they are starting some of their bus routes back up on Saturday afternoon.
Spokespeople say they are phasing in some of their essential routes.
They previously suspended bus service after a winter storm moved through north Georgia on Friday and icy conditions stuck around on Saturday.

Limited bus service will start when each of the following routes gets a final safety check.
- Route 8 - North Druid Hills Road
- Route 19 - Clairmont/ W. Howard Avenue
- Route 40 - Peachtree Street / Downtown
- Route 110 - Peachtree Road/ Buckhead
- Route 111 - Snapfinger Woods
- Route 123 - Church Street
- Route 196 - Upper Riverdale
MARTA rail service is operating on a weekend schedule, but streetcar service is currently suspended.
