When students and staff return to University System of Georgia campuses across the state in the fall, masks will be optional for many of them.
The USG has released new guidance for the Fall 2021 semester, stating that fully vaccinated staff and students will not be required to wear a mask while in class or at other activities. Those who have not been vaccinated are strongly encouraged to continue wearing their masks inside.
