ATLANTA — The Mega Millions prize is once again closing in on a billion dollars.
Lottery officials said the jackpot has risen to almost 10 figures for the second time in just over five months. This comes after no ticket matched all six numbers drawn Tuesday night.

The total cash value is now an estimated $940 million.

In the Tuesday drawing alone, lottery officials said there were 2,904,737 winning tickets, with prizes ranging from $2 up to $4 million.
The last winning jackpot was on Oct. 14, and so far, Mega Millions jackpots of all sizes were won in 2022.
The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350.
