Moore-Earvin was accused of killing Andrew Miller, 19, in July of 2020. Investigators say the victim and a friend went to the Ashland Pine Apartments on Walden Walk Circle in Stone Mountain to buy a handgun and sell a rifle.
The victim, Miller, fired the rifle into a tree to show it worked but the weapon jammed. Moore-Earvin saw an opportunity to steal the weapon, pointed a gun at Miller and his friend, and told them to “give it up,” according to the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office. That’s when investigators say Moore-Earvin shot Miller in the chest, stole his friend’s phone, and took Miller’s car.

Co-defendants Emmanuel “Manny” Dawson and Arthur “Fazo” Harriet are both currently awaiting trial.
