Men bust through wall to burglarize Atlanta charity

ATLANTA — Thieves broke through a brick wall in an attempt to rob a local charity, and it's not the first time the organization was hit.

Channel 2 Action News was there as workers repaired the wall at "Caring For Other" in southeast Atlanta.

Employees say last time, thieves broke in the same way and took $25,000 worth of merchandise.

Since then, they added to their security system.

This time thieves were scared away by the alarm empty handed.

The group says the money spent on repairs wil reduce how much the group is able to help community.

"For them to break in and cause this much damage to an organization that does so much good is heartbreaking," Roporscha Taylor with Caring For Others said.

The security video shows two men believed to be the suspects walking by the building.
