They spoke to Channel 2′s Courtney Francisco on WSB Tonight at 11 p.m. on video chat as they headed through Arizona on Sunday.
Their Twitter bio jokes, “Athens to L.A. for the CFP Championship – 2,267 miles, 240 ice cold beers, 80 hours, four Dawgs, 2 two casino stops and one luxury minivan.”
Marcus “Mo” Simmons said they left Athens Friday afternoon and went to Tunica and gambled there.
“Good thing is, nobody lost a lot of money, and we got up and “Bear” drove up to Albuquerque yesterday,” said Simmons.
“If I die next week, I’ll die happy,” laughed Bob “Bob-O” Kenerly, in the passenger seat.
Another one of the dawgs, Craig “Bear” Meeks, said there has been a lot of “silliness” on the trip.
