ATLANTA — Dozens of school districts across north Georgia are closed today due to the possible winter weather moving into north Georgia.
Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms announced in a news conference Monday morning that they would close state and city offices Tuesday.

7 a.m.: DeKalb County opened three warming shelters at 7 a.m. Tuesday. People can go to fire station 3 on North Clarendon Avenue in Avondale Estates, fire station 6 on Flat Shoals Road and fire station 15 on Flightway Drive in Chamblee. The centers will remain open through noon Friday.
6:40 a.m.: City of Milton says it will open at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday after reassessing weather conditions.
6 a.m.: Atlanta opened two emergency warming centers to get people out of the cold. The old Adamsville Recreation Center and Central Park Recreation Center are open to the public.
3 a.m.: Henry County Schools is dismissing students 2 hours early. Barrow County Schools remain open as of now.
11:15 p.m.: Gordon County Schools will be closed on Tuesday.
11 p.m.: White County Schools will be closed on Tuesday.
10:15 p.m.: Hapeville police say City of Hapeville offices, including the Municipal Court, will be closed Tuesday.
10:10 p.m.: Woodstock police say City Hall Administrative Offices will be closed Tuesday.
7:50 p.m.: Spelman College closes for Tuesday.

6:25 p.m.: Delta cancels 170 flights in and out of Atlanta on Tuesday.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Dade, Walker, Catoosa, Whitfield, Murray, Fannin, Gilmer, Union, Towns, Chattooga, Gordon, Pickens, Dawson, Lumpkin, White and Floyd counties.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Bartow, Cherokee, Forsyth, Hall, Polk, Paulding, Cobb, North Fulton, Gwinnett, Haralson, Carroll, Douglas, South Fulton, DeKalb, Heard, Coweta, Fayette and Clayton counties.
