Missing 68 year-old Atlanta man with dementia found safe

Atlanta police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing 68-year-old man with dementia.

Dennis Hebert was last seen leaving his home on Valley View Road SE around 7:45 p.m. Thursday. Police say he left in a silver 2019 Dodge Caravan with paper tags.

Hebert is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and and weighs 260 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt, gray sweatpants and black shoes.

Hebert has been diagnosed with dementia and may not be taking his medication, according to police.

Police are asking anyone with information or who has seen Hebert to call 911 or the Atlanta Police Department at 404-546-4235.
