DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — After disappearing nearly a month ago, investigators found the body of a missing Carroll County man.
Jimmy Wilkerson, 80, was last seen May 11 in his pickup truck with his dog.
On Tuesday, the caretaker of a Douglas County property found Wilkerson's body near a power line.
Investigators said Wilkerson's dog was alive and by his side.
The Douglas County Animal Shelter is caring for the dog.
The Medical Examiner's office said the autopsy results were undetermined. There were no signs of foul play.
