Mobile food market to set up at Atlanta Motor Speedway Fridays in May

HAMPTON, Ga. — Atlanta Motor Speedway has partnered with Hampton Elementary and the Atlanta Community Food Bank to feed families in Hampton.

The Speedway is distributing up to 40 pounds of food to each family for free through a “mobile market” May 8, May 15 and May 22.

The market days are open to anyone in the community. The giveaways start at 11 a.m. and food will be available for as long as supplies last.

“Our Speedway has always had a sense of community. We take pride in looking for ways to give back to Henry County and the residents of the surrounding area, particularly during these uncertain times,” said AMS Executive Vice President and General Manager Brandon Hutchison. “That’s why we’re proud to be teaming up with Hampton Elementary and the Atlanta Community Food Bank to put on these market days and make a positive difference for Hampton families.”Groceries will be pre-bagged and put in the trunks of people’s vehicles. All vehicles should enter via Atlanta Motor Speedway’s main entrance off Highway 19/41.
