ATLANTA — We’ll have another warm and humid start of the day -- but you could see another round of storms later.

On Tuesday, a strong cluster of storms moved into the metro area with strong wind gusts, heavy rain and lightning.

Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan says you can expect the chance for thunderstorms as temperatures soar into the 90s today.

What you need to know:

  • Strong wind gusts and small hail is possible.
  • There’s a chance of rain every day through the end of the week.
  • A break in the heat is coming.
  • Tropical Storm Gonzalo formed and likely to become season’s first hurricane as it approaches the Windward Islands of the eastern Caribbean in a few days.
