Two right lanes were blocked starting at about 9 a.m. Monday.
Police said no one was injured.
Crews worked for a few hours to repair the sizable gaping pothole that opened on a bridge.
Repair workers widened the hole to remove and replace reinforcement steel bars in the concrete.
They inspected the bridge from above and below where it crosses over a road.

Workers filled the pothole with quick-drying concrete.
Officials say the pothole was simply a result of normal wear and tear.
