ATLANTA — Want to own a piece of your favorite Netflix show and also do some good? Here’s your chance.
The Atlanta Dream Center Church is hosting a huge studio prop sale with items from popular Netflix series filmed here in Georgia.
The sale benefits families who are enrolled in the church’s Virtual Learning Center, which was implemented at the start of the 2020/2021 school year for metro Atlanta families – particularly single parent households – who were left scrambling to find a support system with adequate and affordable childcare.
The center is for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, who can complete their online classes under the supervision of onsite, background-checked tutors. It is designed to help “shoulder the burden of overextended parents and provides a respite for families during the COVID-19 crisis.”
The sale runs through Sunday, Sept. 20. The address is at 715 Miami Circle in Atlanta.
The sale includes clothing, costume jewelry, costumes, uniforms, formal gowns, pageant and prom gowns, shoes and more. They were used in many TV productions.
