WALTON COUNTY, Ga. — Police are continuing the search for a Georgia man who vanished on a business trip to Louisiana.
Nathan Millard, from Walton County, traveled to Baton Rouge last week, and his family hasn’t heard from him since.
Channel 2′s Tyisha Fernandes spoke with Louisiana investigators Monday, who said they are still actively investigating the case.

Nathan Millard’s wife, Amber Millard, said they are hoping for a miracle.
“I’m heartbroken,” Millard said. “I mean, it’s a nightmare that I wanna wake up from.”
Millard said everything seemed fine when she Facetimed her husband on Thursday evening, just a day after he got to Louisiana.
“He was able to get college basketball tickets,” Millard said. “He and I Facetimed while he (at the game), and that was at 7:30 p.m. Georgia time.”

Nathan Millard never made it back to his hotel room that night. His phone was located about four blocks from the Marriot downtown where he was staying.
Millard said Baton Rouge police have surveillance footage of someone using her husband’s debit card.
“It shows a male using his card,” Millard said “We’re just at a standstill for more camera footage to be presented.

Millard said Nathan is a good husband and father and would never disappear.
“I’m praying for a miracle that he makes it home to us,” Millard said. “I go from you know one minute just not accepting reality to just gut-wrenching, sick to my stomach.”
