If you’re going to be driving along Georgia 400 and Interstate 285, there’s a new change you’ll want to be aware of.
The Georgia Department of Transportation says it has opened the Ga. 400 south to I-285 east exit ramp early Monday morning.
Drivers on Ga. 400 southbound to I-285 eastbound will need to merge to the farthest right lane on Ga. 400 southbound and merge onto the ramp just before the Hammond Drive overpass. Drivers will travel on the over 80-foot tall ramp until it merges with I-285 eastbound just before the Perimeter Center Parkway overpass.
GDOT officials say there are signs warning drivers of the changes before the new configuration.
