CLARKSTON, Ga. — The Clarkston Police Department has a new officer that is ready to take a bite out of crime!
The puppy, who hasn’t been named yet, was sworn in as a K9 officer on Monday.

She will be part of the department’s community relations division and attend all community events, the department said.

The department is asking residents to vote for the puppy’s name on Facebook with two choices: Clarke or Donut.

They plan to tally votes on Facebook and Messenger on Wednesday and officially announce her name.
We bet she’ll be the most paw-pular officer in the department!
