GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — The father and son accused of shooting and killing Ahmaud Arbery while he went on a neighborhood jog faced a judge Friday.
This comes as hundreds of people called for justice outside the courthouse in Glynn County.
That’s where Greg and Travis McMichael appeared in court via video link on Friday. Both are being held without bond.
The GBI director Vic Reynolds said Friday afternoon he not ruling out at least one more arrest.

Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23 in southeast Georgia when his family and friends said he was out on an afternoon jog. Cellphone video showing the moment Arbery was killed has prompted national outrage since surfacing online this week.
Hours before, hundreds of people gathered outside the courthouse, celebrating what would have been the victim’s 26th birthday and demanding answers to why it took ten weeks and the leak of video of this shooting before the GBI was called in. In less than two days, agents arrested the McMichaels outside their Glynn County house.
Reynolds said his agents quickly found probable cause, despite a local investigation that stalled for weeks. A prosecutor on the case said there was “new developments.”
