DUNWOODY, Ga. — Sandy Springs Fire and Rescue responded to the scene of a large fire at an apartment complex Tuesday evening.
The fire was reported at the Parc Apartments on Pitts Road around 5 p.m.
In a tweet from the fire department, it showed large flames coming from at least one apartment building.
NewsChopper 2 flew over the scene a short time later and showed firefighters had quickly gotten the fire under control.
Firefighters said eight units were destroyed in the fire, displacing 15 people.
The Red Cross has been notified to help those people out.
One person received a minor injury. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
