ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Alpharetta police are searching for the person they say is responsible for shooting a man and sending him to the hospital.
Police confirmed they responded to the QuikTrip off Old Milton Parkway around 3 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found a 48-year-old man inside a car with multiple gunshot wounds.
Video from the scene shows the passenger side window shattered and covered up.
Officers told Channel 2′s Bryan Mims that they started first aid on the victim until paramedics arrived and took him to the hospital. Police said the suspect already left the scene before they arrived.

The victim is currently stable at the hospital. He has not been identified.
No description of the shooter is available. It’s unclear if the shooter and victim knew one another.
