MILTON, Ga. — The City of Milton has unveiled their new Fire Station 42.
It is the newest of Milton’s four fire stations that will mainly serve the northeast portion of the city.
The station sits in the same footprint of the original Fire Station 42 on Thompson Road that was built decades ago, when the City of Milton was known as the community called Hopewell.

The original fire station was torn down in 2021 so the new facility could be constructed.
The state-of-the-art station includes bunk rooms that can accomodate eight firefighters, a day room, kitchen, office, gym, and a bay for two fire apparatus.
