ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Alpharetta Department of Public Safety is giving some of their own a shout-out for going above and beyond the call of duty.
On Sunday, officers encountered a driver whose vehicle had broken down in the middle of traffic.
When they learned the person was a delivery driver for DoorDash, the officers helped to get the driver safely out from the middle of the road. They even finished the driver’s delivery so his customers would not go hungry.
“Shout out to FTO Chastain, Ofc. Kim, and Ofc. Vickers for their teamwork and willingness to go above and beyond for the citizens of Alpharetta,” the department said in a Facebook post.
