MILTON, Ga. — Milton police said they are looking for someone who shot a so-called “splatter gun” at a pedestrian from a Jeep.
Milton police said they also had reports of teenagers shooting water-bead guns at shop windows. Police said they arrested those suspects.

A teenager shot at people on Heybridge Lane from a white Jeep Patriot, police said. They believe these incidents may be inspired by social media or a TikTok challenge.

Splatter guns are not considered lethal, but they can be dangerous. They fire water-bead projectiles up to 210 feet per second, according to police. They can cause damage and panic.

Similar incidents involving pellet guns have occurred recently. Earlier this week, two 18-year-olds were arrested when police said they shot at pedestrians from a moving car. Last month, Gwinnett neighbors were concerned by someone shooting at drivers with a pellet gun.
