SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — The Georgia State Patrol says a chase for a murder suspect has ended in a Sandy Springs neighborhood.
GSP said they located the suspect’s car Tuesday afternoon. The car sped away after being located.
Troopers said they used a PIT maneuver to stop the suspect’s car, ending the chase in a Sandy Springs neighborhood.

GSP said the suspect shot himself as the chase ended and was taken to nearby hospital. There is no word on his condition at this point.
Sandy Springs police tweeted that Brandon Mill Road will be shut down near Brandon Ridge Drive while they investigate.
Police said no one is in danger.
