ATLANTA — Police have released more information about an incident where a man waved a gun at a child in Sandy Springs on Monday.
Investigators said they were called out to Fenwick Place around 2 p.m. on Monday after getting calls into 911 about the situation.
Officers said D’quan Prebble got into a fight with his girlfriend when the girlfriend’s sister stepped in to calm things, police said Prebble then pulled out a gun and threatened to shoot everyone, which included a child.

When police arrived at the scene, officers said they saw Prebble take off into the woods, sparking a manhunt for him.
About two hours later, police found Prebble in a wooded area near Dumaine Trace and he was arrested.
Police charged him with terroristic threats, cruelty to children in the 3rd degree, theft by taking, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
