Roswell police identify suspects in $1 million fraud scheme

ROSWELL, Ga. — Roswell police are searching for potential victims who were targeted in a $1 million fraud scheme.

The department arrested 57-year-old Earnest Williams, aka Nesto, and 46-year-old Ericka King on fraud, forgery, and theft charges. Police said Williams and King had more than a dozen victims.

Detectives investigated the pair in connection with a rental fraud report at a property off Pine Grove Road. The investigation turned into the bust of what police described as an expansive fraudulent business scheme.

Police said Williams and King focused on running shell companies for business growth and coaching.

The pair would target victims who were looking to grow their brands, then never provide the services the victims paid for, according to investigators.

Roswell police determined the victims lost more than $1 million in money and property. Investigators believe there are more victims out there.

Anyone who believes they may have been victimized by Williams or King is urged to contact investigator Officer Fields at nfields@roswellgov.com, or 770-640-4455.
