Next court date for Roswell teens' murder suspect set for November

Jeffrey Hazelwood, accused of killing two Roswell teens, appeared in court for the first time on Friday.

ROSWELL, Ga. — The next court date for the case of the two Roswell teens shot and killed behind a grocery store will happen on November 1.

Jeffrey Hazelwood is accused of shooting and killing Natalie Henderson and Carter Davis in a parking lot behind a Publix in August.

Attorneys for Hazelwood argue that the 20-year-old is mentally ill and that his mother may have contributed to his mental decline by raising him in a bad environment.
