SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — The Sandy Springs Gun Club and Range on Roswell Road caught fire Sunday afternoon.
More than two dozen firefighters responded to the scene and were able to quickly extinguish the flames.
The fire chief said there were a number of people inside at the time the fire started in one of the ranges, but no one was injured.
"It's a very dangerous place if there's fire involved with all the ammunition but all that was in a secure place and it's not of any threat at this time,” fire chief Keith Sanders said.
