PICKENS COUNTY, Ga. — Pickens County school officials had to move students and staff out of Pickens Junior High after people complained about a smell of gas in the building.
The district said in a post on social media that they moved everyone to a safe location while crews assessed the situation.
Shortly before 11 a.m., the district said it identified and fixed the issue, and all students were sent back to class.
