COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A local neighborhood is in shock after a Cobb County home caught fire.
Neighbors say they rushed to help as flames engulfed a home with two men fatally trapped inside.
The fire broke out just before 10 p.m. Tuesday at a home on Landmark Court in Marietta.
Neighbors told Channel 2's Wendy Halloran they are very upset they weren't able to help get the men out of the house in time.
Keri Tomlin-Krepps, a neighbor, said she noticed the house on fire.
"It was scary because it was such a big fire," Tomlin-Krepps said.

Neighbors could not do anything to help the two men who lived there.
"We saw tons of fire trucks coming through and we look out again and the whole house is ablaze," Tomlin-Krepps said. "They were actually still inside. It was terrifying."
The fire killed a father and stepson.
Jack Untz, 86, did not survive, and his stepson Steven Haidal, 54, died later.
Animal control was called for a dog, which also died.
Drew Yates lives right behind the house, and their common bond was their pets.
"The other dog was good friends with our dog, so very sad. Very sad, tragic," Yates said.
Firefighters worked into the night putting out hot spots. Investigators are still trying to determine how the fire started.
Ramon Cisneros, a next-door neighbor who knew the men, said it was devastating.
"I'm so sad," Cisneros said. "There's nothing we can do."
