AUGUSTA, Ga. — One Georgian is nearly two million dollars richer after hitting the jackpot in the Georgia lottery.

According to the Georgia Lottery, there was one Fantasy 5 jackpot winner for April 25 drawing.
Lottery officials said the winning ticket was purchased at Junior Food Store in Augusta.
The winner claimed the ticket that day.

The winner’s identity has not been released. The winner won in total $1,712,163.
The next drawing will be held on May 2 with an estimated jackpot of $683,000.
