Austin Riley flew home Tuesday night after the Braves’ win over the Dodgers to be with Anna for the birth of their son. Eason is the first child for the couple, who have been married since 2018.

The Braves took Riley off the paternity list Friday morning. Riley will be back in the Braves lineup Friday night against the Miami Marlins.

Riley isn’t the only Braves player who has welcomed a new baby. Catcher Travis d’Arnaud and his wife also welcomed their second child in August. Luke Jackson and his wife Corinne welcomed their first son in September.
